Tremor 2024 Unveils Stellar Lineup with International Artists and Unique Collaborations
As Tremor 2024 gears up for its much-anticipated event in the picturesque Azores, Portugal, 14 new acts have been added to the already eclectic lineup, promising an unforgettable musical journey from 19th to 23rd March 2024. Joining the roster are Russian avant-pop sensation Kate NV, English singer-songwriter Rozi Plain, and the electronic/immersive visual art collaboration of Nik Colk Void and Mathieu Le Sourd.
On the sonic front, the festival boasts a diverse array of talents, including DEAFKIDS, Hetta, Holy Tongue, La Jungle, and Sarine. Electronic enthusiasts can look forward to DJ Lynce, Meritxell de Soto, and the captivating duo Nik Void + MAOTIK. The unique artistic residency, a collaboration between ondamarela collective and the Deaf Association of São Miguel, along with the Azorean percussion group Bora Lá Tocar, completes this exciting wave of Tremor announcements.
DEAFKIDS, fresh from the reverberations of unforgettable concerts, bring their new album, "Ritmos do Colapso," inspired by the dystopian climate of the pandemic era. The lineup also features the solo project of DEAFKIDS' drummer, Sarine, Portuguese post-hardcore sensation Hetta, and the Belgian duo La Jungle, exploring krautrock and noise rock.
Virtuoso percussionist Valentina Magaletti, in collaboration with producer AI Wootton, presents Holy Tongue, an exploration of form-free psychedelia. Kate NV, known for her imaginative use of various elements, brings her curious and colorful universe to the Azores. English singer-songwriter Rozi Plain adds a touch of intimacy and familial warmth to the lineup with her hypnotic songs.
In a commitment to exploring the intersection of music with languages, technologies, and other art forms, Tremor introduces the collaboration between producer Nik Colk Void and digital artist Mathieu Le Sourd. This partnership promises a unique fusion of experimental electronics and immersive visual art, adding an extra layer of excitement to the festival.
