Tracks That Shaped Our Sound: Tin Pigeons

We're over the moon to be featuring the Tin Pigeons in 'Tracks That Shaped Our Sound', their larest release 'Another Time' is a proper indie-pop triumph that was released last week. Over the last 4 years, the East-Midlands duo has played over 500 gigs. They’ve supported Fickle Friends, OUTLYA and Billie Marten to name a few and have picked up support from Huw Stephens, Annie Mac, Greg James, Steve Lamacq, Jack Saunders and loads more along the way.

Hayley Williams- Cinnamon

We love the way they play with ambience in this track to create a really strong sense of emotion. There is so much space sonically that we really try to portray in our tunes also!

Alvvays- Archie, Marry Me

This chorus has an amazing 'wall of sound' feel that always makes me so PUMPED. We wanted to capture the energy that Alvvays achieve in this track. The vibe is also so summery and light-hearted with a whiff of emotion and sadness - I love tracks that can have that juxtaposition.

Wolf Alice- Don't Delete The Kisses

I adore how this track seems to be pretty linear when you first hear it, but after a few replays, it really sucks you in and allows you to focus on the story of the track. This was something we wanted to focus on in the new single, we wanted to paint a story for the listener but not be obvious.
