Sol Paradise teams up with Music Declares Emergency on latest single 'Earth'

Independent artist Sol Paradise is set to make waves with the release of his latest single, 'Earth,' hitting all streaming platforms on November 17th. With a blend of multi-instrumental and production prowess, Sol Paradise has established himself as a force in the music scene, and 'Earth' further solidifies his position. The track delves into the concept of humanity's dominance over nature, portraying the natural world as a commodity at our disposal. Addressing the emotional toll, particularly on young people, grappling with the impending climate crisis, Sol Paradise's lyrics carry a poignant message: “Leave the Earth alone, stop trying to find another home - can we just fix the one we have, change is what we need, give the land some room to breathe.” The song advocates for the mental health benefits of connecting with nature, highlighting its link to reduced levels of depression and anxiety.

Sol Paradise's ability to seamlessly blend a compelling rhythm with thought-provoking lyrics and a clear sense of purpose shines in 'Earth,' making it his most captivating release to date. Stemming from a deep sense of despair over the planet's destruction, the song serves as a musical depiction of future calamities, aimed at awakening and educating listeners. Sol emphasizes the importance of incorporating environmentalism into artistic work, stating, "Nature is the common denominator in what people consider beautiful - music tastes differ, but everyone appreciates the same landscapes. We as artists need to incorporate environmentalism into our work as much as we can to help spread that message.”

In a powerful move, Sol Paradise has partnered with Music Declares Emergency for the release of 'Earth,' pledging to donate 100% of Bandcamp sales to the charity and committing a percentage of merchandise sales to support the cause.

Building on the success of his previous single, "Beehive," which received airplay on BBC Introducing and garnered attention across Voices and Reprezent Radio, Sol Paradise continues to make strides in the industry. With previous support from the likes of Jamz Supernova (BBC 1Xtra) and placements on New Music Friday, Sol Paradise's upcoming EP, 'Always Green,' scheduled for release in March 2024, positions him as a rising star to watch for the rest of the year and beyond.
