The easing of restrictions means we are even closer to hearing live music once again, and for this week's New Music Friday, we've rounded up the latest tracks and mixes that are helping us get ready for its return!

STHL - When Akon Met Lucy [Gimme a Break Records]

The GAB Boys' Edit Room series takes centre stage this week, with STHL's When Akon Met Lucy. This remix transforms the iconic noughties track into a clean-cut, breaks-fuelled tune - perfect for the end of the night. Expect more from STHL in the coming year, but until then, this track will definitely be on repeat.

Minus Kendal - 9128.live Mix (15 May 2021)

Last weekend saw Leeds-based DJ Minus Kendal join a whole host of faces for the Rapture Network's 9128live takeover, featuring the likes of Adam Pits and Jeans. Check out Minus Kendal's trance-filled hour below.

Farsight - Renegade (Interplanetary Criminal Remix)

DJ Mag premier the latest work from Interplanetary Criminal, in which he remixes Farsight's fiery Renegade, recently released on Scuffed Recordings. What was originally a rave-heavy, breaks track has now been flipped by the Manchester-based producer to give it his iconic UKG spin.

DJ MELL G & Nova Cheq - She Wanna Ride [BOGOTURE RECORDS]

She Wanna Ride combines the talents of DJ MELL G and Nova Cheq for an electro-infused, club-heavy hit. This track is part of the latest VA from Bogoture Records entitled ALL EYES ‘N' COLOMBIA, a 22-part compilation raising funds for Colombia amidst its economic and political crisis.
