Ladies Lovin Radio: Open Call

Leeds-based creative duo Ladies Lovin are putting out an Open Call for their upcoming project - a zine exploring the definition of Womxnhood. Their focus around supporting and empowering womxn has been enriched into their work from the start, from their female artist-based radio show to their all-female DJ line-up at their event back in February. With the whirlwind of this year putting a steady halt on their projects, they're now turning to a new avenue to get female creatives together. The Open Call, which features on their Instagram down below, encourages any womxn with an interest in the arts or writing to get involved.

On their Instagram, they wrote: "The changing times have forced us to rethink our plans for this year, and we wanted to find a way to celebrate the ladies we love creating with, just as we did back in February at our event. This is therefore an OPEN CALL to you and your girls – whether you love making art, music, talking about political issues, or anything from the above – we want to create a collaborative zine exploring what it’s like to be a woman in 2020. We want to know how, in these defining, ridiculous and isolating times, what being a woman means to you".
