'Silly Me' unfolds as a powerful coming-of-age record, reflecting Izzy's journey through the tumultuous years of early adulthood. The EP encapsulates life lessons, narrating Izzy's transformation into the confident and talented artist she is today. Explaining the significance of the EP, she shares, "The EP sums up my emotions from leaving school at 16 to now—it’s been a whirlwind, but I finally feel like life is making a bit more sense." The last single, 'Growing Pains,' holds a special place, symbolizing the pivotal lesson amid chaos, self-discovery without attachments or distractions.

Tracklist:

1. Silly Me

2. Without You I Don’t Like Sundays

3. Would We Make It

4. Growing Pains

5. Do I Make You Feel Alive Yet

The EP follows Izzy S.O's recent single, 'Would We Make It,' showcasing her impressive vocal talent. Earlier teasers, 'Silly Me' and 'Without You I Don’t Like Sundays,' have firmly established Izzy as a rising artist, earning acclaim from Clash magazine, Noctis, Fizzy Mag, A1234, Ones To Watch, and more since the release of the title track 'Silly Me' in August.

The new addition, 'Growing Pains,' written in a Copenhagen hotel room at 2 am, delivers stunning vocals and raw songwriting. Izzy shares, "It’s not a song about a breakup—it’s a song about growing up and the fear that can come with that."

Also making its debut today is the catchy and powerful 'Do I Make You Feel Alive Yet,' a sex-positive anthem challenging societal judgments on female promiscuity. Izzy takes ownership of her sexuality, breaking free from the narrative that dictates a woman's worth based on her choices. She expresses, "I grew up feeling an element of shame around sex and promiscuity... it’s letting go of the pressure I had put on myself since I was sixteen."

Hailing from the West Midlands, Izzy S.O's musical journey started with poetry, evolving into songwriting. Collaborating with producer Dustin Dooley during the pandemic, she refined her sound, blending alt-pop, pop-rock, and indie influences from female icons like Alanis Morissette, Mazzy Star, and Avril Lavigne.

With a bright future ahead, marked by potential and a series of captivating live shows, Izzy S.O is undeniably an artist to watch closely.
