Horst Festival Unveils Stellar Lineup for 10th Anniversary Edition in 2024

Brussels-based underground arts and music festival, Horst, is gearing up for its monumental tenth-anniversary celebration, and the initial wave of artists for the 2024 edition has just been revealed. Known for its unique blend of arts, architecture, and cutting-edge music, Horst promises an unforgettable experience at Aviat Park from Thursday, May 9, to late Saturday, May 11, marking the start of the festival season.

The festival organizers have curated an impressive roster of artists, showcasing their commitment to both musical talent and artistic expression. Among the standout names announced are Ben UFO, DJ Nobu, Juliana Huxtable, JASSS, a special Octo Octa drum 'n' bass set, Skream and Benga, upsammy, Kiernan Laveaux, and many more.

Horst has earned a reputation for its meticulous attention to both DJs and decoration, creating an immersive atmosphere that seamlessly integrates arts and music. Despite a new artistic direction, the festival's dedication to pushing boundaries and reimagining urban spaces remains unwavering.

In the period between last year's festival in March and the upcoming edition, Aviat Park has been home to the Horst Arts & Music Club since October 27. Described as "warmly welcoming and wonderfully weird nights," the club has already hosted DJs like Craig Richards, GiGi FM, Jam City, Le Motel, and Moxie. As Horst Festival prepares to return to its roots in late spring, additional performances from Kode9, Marie Montexier, and more are scheduled at the venue.

Graphic designers Ronny & Jonny, who concluded their collaboration with Horst last year, left a lasting imprint with a striking collaboration with Delta Light. The festival's evolution is evident in its continuous exploration of the intersection between music, art, and architecture.

Originating in 2014 on the grounds of Horst Castle in Holsbeek, Horst Festival has evolved into an internationally acclaimed platform for cutting-edge electronic music and innovative in-situ art and architecture. The move to Asiat Park in 2019 allowed the festival to build on its tradition of transforming urban spaces into immersive artistic landscapes.

Last year's edition showcased memorable performances from Bitter Babe, BLUMITSU, Calibre, dBridge b2b Donato Dozzy, Evian Christ, and SASS (Moxie, Peach, Saoirse, and Shanti Celeste), establishing Horst Festival as one of the standout events of 2023.

As the countdown to the 2024 edition begins, anticipation is building for another extraordinary celebration of creativity and innovation at Horst Festival. Stay tuned for further announcements and surprises as the festival season kicks off next May.
