Doomsdaycult: Tracks That Shaped Our Sound
We spoke to Doomsday Cult, their music is described as the the sound of the end of the world. We talked with them about the tracks that shaped their sound, here's how it went down:
JUSTICE - PHANTOM PT.II
Music should make you feel something. When that feeling is visceral and uncompromising, that is when you know you’ve stumbled upon something truly great. Justice understands this, with ‘Phantom Pt.II’ being just one example of how they have utilised grandiosity and distortion to create a truly unique vision. They have been the biggest source of inspiration for my message. We thank them.
CARPENTER BRUT - TURBO KILLER
Sometimes, a melody cannot be whispered or merely spoken, it must be screamed. Carpenter Brut takes this philosophy and overdrives their music until it is pushing every limit and confinement.
THE PRODIGY - DIESEL POWER
The Prodigy is where my journey truly began. They laid the foundation for me to reach out to every lost soul I have recruited. Without The Prodigy, I would not exist. They are Pioneers and they continue to evolve and innovate.
SIERRA - UNBROKEN
Dark, dystopian textures that conjure visions of the end of the world that I have seen in my dreams. Sierra’s production is vivid, crushing and infectious. A truly unique voice in the world of electronic music that has inspired my vision.
