BabyStep Bandcamp Picks: Peaky Beats

If you have even the slightest awareness of the Leeds UKG scene, then Peaky Beats is undoubtedly a name that you will have come across at some point. Operating as both label and artist, Peaky Beats' vinyl only releases have been supplying the scene with tasty bops since last year, which saw the release of debut record PBR001. Since then, Tom has showed no signs of slowing down, with a further 3 PBR records under his belt, a collaboration with Eliza Rose, and appearances on various other labels including Lobster Theremin and 3 Feet Deep.

Peaky Beats also runs a mix series, spotlighting the local talents with previous guests including Spin City, Gunfinger Food, Amaliah and more. His own sets are a real spectacle, always bringing the energy whilst incorporating his sprawling mass of hardware to create a unique blend of UK sounds. With PBR004's release on the horizon, we thought what better time to pick his brains for some of his favourite Bandcamp releases.

Upcoming Self Releases - Eliza Rose

Loads of really exciting music coming soon from Eliza! Including 2 collaboration tracks on PBR004, as well as some new collaborations on new lables, and she’s working on some amazing self-release material too!
